Gertent Launches on Kickstarter

Company Partners with Funded Today

Ulan Bator, Mongolia - February 14, 2020 /FundedToday/ —

GerTent has just launched on Kickstarter. They have brought on Funded Today to help bring their product to a wider audience and increase pledges for the duration of the campaign.

About GerTent

GerTent is a totally hardy, comfortably, and roomy four-season tent. It is also very durable, portable, and affordable. GerTent has successfully tested against the strong wind of the Great Plains of Mongolia. It withstands the harshest elements of all four seasons.

GerTent has a round design which invites a welcoming atmosphere that is convenient and communal. It also allows for optimal air ventilation and even distribution of heat. This makes it suitable for stretching, holding a party, hosting a gathering, or even adding on additional tents. GerTent has 4-way door that emphasizes an open design and increases accessibility. This means that 2-3 household can make their own sleeping area and use these doors as room dividers.

The Porch has a height of 1.8 meters and the other three doors are 1.6 meters high. The roof is designed like the crown wheel of yurts which provides access to light and air.

It also has a fly and mosquito repellent mesh protection. It is possible to make fire in the stove during the cold weather to keep the tent cozy. You can also cook in the tent, as a chimney made from non-combustible material will not burn in +200 degrees.

GerTent can be assembled in 10-15 minutes by two people and can be broken down and packed away in less than 10 minutes. GerTent is separated into 2 bags of equal weight. It is easy to carry and go pretty much anywhere weighing in total only 35-40kg.

You can buy an attachable front porch which can be connected to the front-facing door. It can also be used as storage or as an extra sleeping space for 2-3 people.

Pricing and Availability

GerTent is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by July 2020. The starting price for one GerTent is $1906 USD.

Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who modernized Oman, dies at 79

Feb 22, 2020

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Oman’s Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Mideast's longest-ruling monarch who seized power in a 1970 palace coup and pulled his Arabian sultanate into modernity while carefully balancing diplomatic ties between adversaries Iran and the U.S., has died. He was 79. The British-educated, reclusive sultan reformed a nation that was home to only three schools and harsh laws banning electricity, radios, eyeglasses and even umbrellas when he took the throne. Under his reign, Oman became known as a welcoming tourist destination and a key Mideast interlocutor, helping the U.S. free captives in Iran and Yemen and...

On streets of Tehran, relief for now at no wider conflict

Feb 22, 2020

TEHRAN, Iran — Iranian newspapers proclaimed the country's attack on U.S. forces in Iraq to be "a dark night for Americans," and Washington's "first admission of failure in history." On the bustling streets of Tehran, however, there was relief Thursday that neither side appeared primed for war. “War is not something like the ‘Call of Duty’ game," said Dara Shojaei, a 23-year-old architecture student. “It's not a game you can play to win. There's no winner.” But with the relief came some mixed feelings about how far Iran should go to avenge the killing of Revolutionary Guard Gen. Qassem Soleiman,...

Space Force will start small but let Trump claim a big win

Feb 22, 2020

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration is celebrating the launch of Space Force, the first new military service in more than 70 years. In signing the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act that includes Space Force, Trump on Friday can claim a victory for one of his top national security priorities just two days after being impeached by the House. It is part of a $1.4 trillion government spending package — including the Pentagon's budget — that provides a steady stream of financing for Trump's U.S.-Mexico border fence and reverses unpopular and unworkable automatic spending cuts to defense and domestic programs. Space...
